This Month Was Major

It was an incredibly productive May for us. Between the continued support from all of you, whether you pre-ordered the forthcoming LP, the 10" repress, or a T-shirt — we're in awe by how many of you there are, and how close we are to being sold out of the presses. Thank you.

Erik and Nick met up for the first time in 17 years. That statement alone is nuts, but better late, than never, right? The time was nothing short of epic. After some good hangs and catch ups, we got down to it.

Nick found this creative space in the middle of nowhere in CT, where we holed up for a week and wrote new music. It's as if we never stopped creating. We ended up coming away with 7+ new songs (in addition to the 6 or 7 demos we write prior to meeting up) and we cannot wait to bring them into the studio.

It's been an incredible return to this. You quickly realize that no matter how many years pass, in rare cases, friendships and creative dynamic remain as relevant and vibrant as ever. We're fortunate enough to have this.

This month, Erik also met with Tom Mullen of Washed Up Emo in NYC and had an extended chat on punk rock in the late 90s/ early 2000s, its culture and community, where JD fit into it all back then, and where we fit now after all these years. It was a really fun conversation, and we'll be sure to post the episode when it goes live.

We also met Kristian and Nichole of the Limited To One NYC record shop — a beautifully curated collection of late 90s/ early 2000s gems + more. We hung out at the shop and they just so happened to have a couple of relics on hand.

There are many more updates to come, so please return often, and if you haven't yet, join our mailing list for the latest.

Next up: waiting on the 10" test press, and select items from the LP campaign will begin shipping in July + all three of us will meet in LA at the end of July for a week to write, rehearse and continue bringing this to where ever it is meant to go.
